Windows, by default, displays only the 15 most recently accessed documents on the Start, My Documents menu. However, you can adjust this number by performing the following steps:

1. Start a registry editor (e.g., regedit.exe).
2. Navigate to the key indicated below and add the value named.
    

   Hive:	HKEY_CURRENT_USER
   Key:	Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
   Name:	MaxRecentDocs
   Type:	REG_DWORD
   Value:	Set this value to the number of documents that you want Windows to display (in multiples of 15)

3. Close the registry editor.
